Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join our Agile delivery teams within the banking sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of Agile methodologies and experience working in regulated financial environments. You will facilitate Agile processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive the delivery of high-quality banking solutions that align with strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) tailored to banking projects and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication of requirements and priorities.
• Guide and coach cross-functional teams in Agile best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Identify and remove impediments, including those related to regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Support teams in understanding and adhering to banking regulations and security standards during delivery.
• Track and report team progress, velocity, and impediments to leadership and stakeholders.
• Promote transparency and alignment across business, compliance, and IT teams.
• Manage dependencies across multiple teams and ensure timely delivery of banking software releases.
• Assist in scaling Agile practices across the organization, including implementing frameworks like SAFe, if applicable.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master in the banking, financial services, or fintech industry.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and their application in regulated environments.
• Knowledge of banking regulations, compliance standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR, SOX), and risk management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent Agile certification preferred.
• Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Rally.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, QA, and compliance officers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage conflicts and change in a dynamic environment.
