Role Summary

We are looking for an accomplished consulting professional to join as an Oracle SCM Lead / Solution Architect. The role demands hands-on functional expertise in Oracle SCM Cloud product suite, combined with strong consulting, industry best-practice knowledge and the ability to lead medium to large-scale client engagements. You will engage with clients (both offshore and onshore), understand their business processes, map them to Oracle Fusion SCM modules, design and implement end-to-end solutions, and lead team deliverables. You will also play a role in stakeholder management and business development activities.

Role & responsibilities

• Lead requirement gathering workshops with client stakeholders to capture business processes, pain-points and future state needs across supply chain functions.
  
• Map business processes to Oracle SCM Cloud modules (Procurement, Order Management, Inventory, Planning, PDH, Manufacturing/Maintenance where applicable).
  
• Architect and design solution blueprints including module configuration, workflows, integrations, data migrations and business-process changes.
  
• Drive end-to-end implementation of Oracle SCM Cloud modules in consulting engagements: scoping, blueprinting, configuration, testing, rollout and post-go-live support.
  
• Act as functional lead/solution architect: guide consultants, monitor quality of deliverables, ensure alignment with Oracle (and your companys) implementation methodology and best practices.
  
• Collaborate with technical teams (integration, data migration, testing) to ensure smooth implementation, robust interfaces and change-management activities.
  
• Manage change-impact, business readiness, stakeholder communications and user-training activities.
  
• Provide value-add consulting: industry best-practice recommendations, challenge clients to improve processes, and articulate solution benefits.
  
• Support business development: contribute to proposals, client meetings, solution visioning, and establish credibility as subject-matter expert.
  
• Travel to client sites onsite (short-term or long-term) as required for onshore deliverables.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 10-15 years of overall experience, with minimum 8 years in consulting/solutioning/implementation of Oracle ERP or Oracle SCM Cloud engagements.
  
• Deep functional expertise in at least

  two

  of the following Oracle SCM Cloud modules:
• Procurement (source to pay)
  
• Order Management (order to cash)
  
• Inventory Management
  
• Planning / Demand & Supply / Sales & Operations Planning
  
• Product Data Hub (PDH) / Product Lifecycle / Item Master
  
• Manufacturing / Maintenance (if applicable)
  
• Proven track record of

  4 or more full end-to-end implementation cycles

  (blueprint testing rollout hypercare) in Oracle ERP / SCM domain.
• Strong consulting mindset with ability to interact with senior client stakeholders, map business to technology, and drive change.
  
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written), ability to build rapport with both team members and client leaders.
  
• Comfortable on clientsite; willing to travel (onsite/offshore) as required.
  
• Graduation (Bachelors degree) mandatory; additional domain/industry experience (manufacturing, retail, consumer goods, distribution) will be an added advantage.
  
• Experience in defining solution architecture, leading teams, delivering quality work products with independence.
  
• Knowledge of Oracle methodology / implementation frameworks, and industry best practices in supply chain domain.
  

Preferred Additional Attributes

• Experience in multi-geography/roll-out projects, global templates for SCM Cloud.
  
• Strong change-management, user-training and business-readiness experience.
  
• Ability to work in ambiguous/complex environments, deliver pragmatic solutions.
  
• Exposure to integrations (ERP, external systems), data migration, cloud-native implementations.
  
• Domain knowledge in supply chain strategy, operations, inventory optimisation, order-fulfilment, procurement cost control, planning & S&OP.

As an Oracle SCM Functional specialist, you will be working both at offshore and onshore client engagements which involves implementation of Oracle SCM Cloud modules. You will be

interacting with the customer to understand their business processes and map them to Fusion Procurement, Order Management, Inventory Management, Planning, PDH & other SCM Cloud Modules.

Overall 10 to 15 Years experience with 8+ years Consulting/ Solutioning/Implementation experience in Oracle ERP application.• Expertise in at least two Fusion SCM modules

(Supply/Demand/Sales & Operations Planning, Fusion Product Data Hub, Fusion Procurement, Order Management, Inventory Management, Manufacturing, Maintenance & other SCM Cloud Modules) is essential.
