About The Opportunity

This opportunity sits within the primary school segment serving diverse classrooms across India, delivering inquiry-led STEM foundations and hands-on scientific thinking to young learners.Career Bloc is hiring an on-site Primary School Science Teacher to design and deliver engaging, standards-aligned science lessons for early grades. The ideal candidate blends strong subject knowledge with classroom management and practical activity design to inspire curiosity and foundational scientific skills.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate, inquiry-driven science lessons that align to the school curriculum and learning outcomes for primary grades.
  • Design, set up and safely supervise hands-on experiments, demonstrations, and STEM activities that build observation and reasoning skills.
  • Create formative and summative assessments, track student progress, and use data to personalise instruction and remediation plans.
  • Differentiated instruction: adapt activities and resources to meet varied learning needs and ensure inclusive access to science learning.
  • Integrate digital tools (e.g., Google Classroom, interactive presentations, simple simulations) to reinforce concepts and support blended learning.
  • Collaborate with grade-level teams, communicate student progress with parents, and participate in school events and professional development.

  • Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed. or equivalent) and a strong grounding in elementary science (e.g., B.Sc. or similar) is preferred.
  • Prior classroom experience in primary education and demonstrable success delivering hands-on science lessons (experience may be formal or practicum-based).
  • Clear background verification and fluency in English plus proficiency in the local medium of instruction where required.
