About The Opportunity

Role & Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate science lessons for primary grades that align to the school curriculum and learning outcomes.
• Design and facilitate hands-on experiments, demonstrations and STEM activities that prioritise safety, participation, and concept mastery.
• Use formative and summative assessments to track student progress; adapt instruction and provide timely feedback to support differentiated learning.
• Integrate digital tools (e.g., Google Classroom, interactive whiteboards) to enhance instruction, assignments and parent communication.
• Maintain classroom routines and positive behaviour management to create a safe, inclusive and active learning environment.
• Collaborate with grade-level peers, subject leads and parents on curriculum planning, student interventions and reporting.

Qualifications (Essential)

• Bachelor's degree in Science (B.Sc.) and a recognized teaching qualification (B.Ed) or equivalent certification.
• Proven classroom teaching experience in primary grades with demonstrable results in student learning and engagement.
• Strong command of English for classroom instruction; proficiency in a regional language is an advantage.
