Role Overview

Softobiz is seeking a Presales Solution Consultant to bridge business needs with technical possibilities and co-own the solutioning process during the sales cycle. This role will partner with sales, delivery, and architecture teams to craft scalable, competitive proposals tailored for mid-market and enterprise clients across the US, Australia, and other global markets. The consultant will play a critical role in early client conversations, aligning technical capabilities with business value, and improving deal velocity through solution confidence.

Key Responsibilities

Engage directly with prospects to understand business context, technical needs, and buying triggersLead/co-lead discovery workshops, technical discussions, and solution mapping sessions during presalesArticulate Softobiz’s value proposition via tailored solutions aligned with client goals (speed-to-market, cost, modernization, compliance)Own/contribute to solution design, scope definition, effort estimation, and response narratives for RFPs/RFIs/pitchesCollaborate with pricing and sales teams to build commercially viable solutionsAssist in tailoring case studies, win themes, and differentiators by industry/use-caseWork with Delivery, Architecture, and CoE to validate assumptions and ensure feasibilityMaintain clean solution handover documentation for post-sale teamsBuild reusable artifacts: discovery decks, boilerplates, prebuilt modules, templatesSupport GTM initiatives via demo environments, accelerators, and advisory sessionsRepresent presales in solution showcases, webinars, and retrospectivesContribute to presales knowledge base and junior onboarding

Required Qualifications

10+ years in IT Services Presales, Solutions Consulting, or Architecture rolesExperience with US/ANZ mid-market clients in sectors like Healthcare, Retail, Logistics, or SaaSFamiliarity with modern web/app/cloud stacks (.NET, Node.js, Azure, AWS, React), CI/CD, cloud-native architectureStrong consultative mindset, able to lead discovery, map pain points, and manage objectionsExcellent proposal structuring and documentation skills

Success Metrics

Increased technical win rate through differentiated solutioningReduced proposal turnaround (<5 business days for mid-complexity deals)Positive feedback from Sales, Delivery, and Client StakeholdersContribution to creation/reuse of technical solution assets.
