Responsibilities Experience SAS VIYA Build and Support Role has the following Key Responsibilities:

• The SAS Admin is expected to assist in preparing detail design document based on approved Infrastructure Architecture design for the SAS Viya Platform within CCS area.

• Role will primarily focus on building various environments ranging from Development, SIT, UAT, Pre-Production Production.

• The ideal candidate should have experience using multiple technologies like Ansible in the area of Application Provisioning, Configuration and Deployment of architectural components in various environments

• Liaise directly with SAS Viya (Decision Manager) Lead and Architect to work based on approved Design and by following HSBC Standards Guidelines

• Actively Participate and resolve any environmental issues arises during the decision manager implementation life-cycle

• Work closely with Business Analysts and Product vendor team to resolve any SAS Viya product related issues

• Provide Environmental support during various stages of Testing, e.g. SIT, UAT, Pre-Production and Production

• Prepare SAS Viya component status report on the state of nodes running in various environments

• Strong experience of Monitoring and Administration of SAS suite of Decision Components in a multi-node environment

• Experience with Performance tuning, Troubleshooting and automation of deployment related technical jobs

• Experience of working in job scheduling using Control-M or other related technologies Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area and / or equivalent experience / training.

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience using SAS VIYA and related Product suite

• Minimum 2+ years hands-on experience on installation and configuration of SAS Viya product components

• Experience with complex multi-platform troubleshooting in a multi-platform environment support

• Experience with common SAS VIYA Applications like SAS Environment manager, ED, SAS Studio.

• Ensures the overall health of the SAS platform. • Should have hands-on experience in SAS VIYA Installation.

• Should have hand-on experience in Linux and shell scripting.

• Applies maintenance releases, upgrades and hot fixes as required.

• Should have experience in playbook creation and managing jobs through Ansible.

• Establishes best practices and guidelines for usage of the SAS platform.

• Excellent problem solving and multi-tasking skills

• Experience in Web services REST, SOAP

• Experience in Python Additional Key Skills

• Prior experience working in areas of Analytics and Decisioning technology and driving new points of view and capabilities.

• Experience with defining and creating methodologies, service offerings

• Experience in managing the environment for the following architecture aspects: Availability, Maintainability, Operability, Scalability and Portability

• Experience in Banking domain / Credit Lending / Decisioning domain

• Prior experience in management methodologies (waterfall, agile, package, etc), enterprise planning, estimation, and project management (single and multi-site) • Experience in providing end-to-end support to production environments.
