You will be working as a Senior Tech Consultant/Technical Architect specializing in SAS Administration for a training institute and its partner clients located in Hyderabad, India. Your role will involve installing and configuring SAS software and components, securing the SAS platform configuration, renewing and installing SAS licenses, administering data access, coordinating with Technology Services teams for backup and restore operations, performing user administration tasks, liaising with the SAS support team to resolve issues, and monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting SAS servers. To be eligible for this position, you should hold a Bachelors/Masters degree or higher in Engineering, IT, Mathematics, Statistics, or Science and have at least 6 years of experience in SAS Administration. You must have experience in performing a Unix-based multimachine SAS install, a deep understanding of SAS Authentication and Authorization processes, and exposure to the 9.4 platform with an inbuilt application tier. Strong migration/modernization skills are essential, including experience in migrating a full SAS production environment to a newer release/platform. Exposure to clustered compute and mid-tier environments, SAS Grid, and Hadoop Platform Administration would be advantageous. Proficiency in Base SAS, SQL, MS Excel, Unix, Linux Scripting, and SAS Platform administration is required. Additionally, you should be certified in SAS Platform Administration for SAS 9.
