SAP Test Manager

Our client, a global healthcare company, is seeking an SAP Test Manager to lead the testing lifecycle of SAP business processes, ensuring high-quality delivery across the SAP landscape. The role is key to driving the successful adoption of SAP solutions through robust test management, stakeholder collaboration, and continuous improvement. As part of the SAP Test Management Team, the SAP Test Manager will design and implement effective testing strategies aligned with business objectives. All system changes must be thoroughly tested and validated to maintain performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead functional testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and performance testing activities to ensure quality deliverables.
  
• Manage end-to-end test lifecycle including test planning, test case design, test execution, defect management, and test closure activities.
  
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure alignment on testing objectives and timelines.
  
• Utilize SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) and HP ALM for test management, defect tracking, and reporting.
  
• Drive test automation initiatives where applicable to improve efficiency and test coverage.
  
• Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong self-management and decision-making capabilities.
  
• Ensure adherence to both Agile and Waterfall methodologies based on project requirements.
  
• Provide regular status updates, test metrics, and quality reports to project stakeholders and leadership.
  
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution, ensuring timely closure and quality standards.
  
• Facilitate UAT sessions with business users and ensure comprehensive sign-off on tested functionalities.
  
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall quality and efficiency.
  

• Proven experience as a SAP Test Manager with expertise in SAP S/4HANA implementations.
  
• Strong knowledge of functional testing, UAT, regression testing, and performance testing methodologies.
  
• Hands-on experience with SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) and/or HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  
• Ability to manage multiple testing work-streams simultaneously and deliver quality results within tight deadlines.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP certification in relevant modules or testing disciplines.
  
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
  
• Prior experience managing remote or distributed testing teams.
  
• Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards and regulatory requirements.
  
• Familiarity with other testing tools such as JIRA, Quality Center, or similar platforms.
