SAP Project Manager

Job Title: SAP PM Engineer

Experience: 8 to 12 years

Work Location: Pune

• Strong experience in managing

  SAP projects end-to-end (preferably in ECC and/or S/4HANA

  environments) Understanding of SAP project lifecycle (blueprint, realization, testing, go-live, support) Experience with SAP Activate or ASAP methodology Proficient in project planning tools like MS Project or Jira Ability to coordinate with cross-functional SAP technical and functional teams Experience in issue tracking, escalation, and change management processes Knowledge of project governance, budgeting, and stakeholder reporting Strong risk and impact analysis capability in SAP environments Familiarity with integration points between SAP modules (e.g.,

  MM-FI, SD-FI)

• Good-to-Have PMP / PRINCE2 / Scrum Master certification SAP certification (PM module or project management-related) Hands-on experience with SAP Solution Manager or ChaRM Exposure to Agile/Hybrid delivery models in SAP projects Awareness of data migration tools and cutover planning strategies Basic understanding of

  ABAP or SAP BASI

• Familiarity with third-party interfaces/integrations (e.g., Salesforce, SuccessFactors)

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

• Lead and manage end-to-end SAP projects including implementation, migration, upgrade, and rollout Collaborate with SAP consultants, developers, BASIS teams, and business stakeholders Define and manage project scope, schedules, resources, and deliverables Conduct regular project status meetings, report KPIs to stakeholders Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues Monitor project quality assurance, ensuring best practices and compliance Facilitate cutover planning, go-live readiness, and post-go-live support activities Ensure effective documentation, training, and knowledge transfer Coordinate with external vendors or partners where needed Continuously improve SAP project delivery processes and contribute to project governance
