Job Summary

SAP PPQM Consultant

Key Responsibilities

Lead and deliver end-to-end SAP PP and QM implementations, enhancements, and support activities.
Analyze business requirements, design solutions, and prepare functional specifications.
Configure PP and QM processes including Master Data, MRP, BOM, Routing, Shop Floor Control, Batch Management, and Quality Inspections.
Integrate PPQM with other SAP modules (MM, SD, WM, FI/CO) and non-SAP systems where applicable.
Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements, provide training, and ensure user adoption.
Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide effective solutions.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization in manufacturing and quality areas.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience in
SAP PP and QM modules
configuration and support.
In-depth knowledge of:
Production Planning (MRP, Capacity Planning, Shop Floor Execution, PP Master Data).
Quality Management (Quality Planning, Quality Inspection, Notifications, Certificates, Audit Management).
Minimum 2–3
end-to-end SAP PPQM implementations
and multiple support/rollout projects.
Integration knowledge with MM, SD, WM, and FI/CO modules.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with ability to work in a global environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Knowledge of
S/4HANA PPQM
functionalities.
Exposure to
SAP MES, APO, or IBP
.
Experience working in
manufacturing, life sciences, or automotive industries
.
Familiarity with
Agile delivery methodologies
.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
SAP PPQM certification preferred but not mandatory.
