Job Description

As a SAP S/4 HANA Financial Accounting & Controlling Consultant at a leading organization in the chemical industry located in Chennai, your key responsibilities will include: - Providing specialist level functional and configuration knowledge in designing SAP solutions in the COSTING modules of SAP S/4 HANA. - Understanding configuration dependencies and interrelationships between separate functional modules of SAP, and offering costing expertise for issue resolution. - Recognizing the dependency between CO and FI and other production and logistics modules. - Conducting/participating in user requirements gathering, blueprinting & documentation designs. - Ensuring compliance with existing data and reporting standards, while developing new standards as needed. - Ensuring the integrity of the Controlling module configuration of the SAP system. - Supporting production configuration and assisting in functional change requests, including conducting configuration changes and prototype activities. - Sharing best practice configuration skills to support business implementations. - Assisting in responding to user requirements, problem resolution, design development, and process modeling. - Demonstrating proof of concept and assisting in training activities. - Performing initial testing of problem fixes, change requests, enhancements, and new functionality. - Collaborating with the Service Desk for incident and problem resolution. - Working with SAP for software bug resolution and SAP Note implementation. - Keeping up to date with SAP releases, enhancements, new functionality, and conducting application research. - Participating in release upgrade assessments, new functionality evaluations, and making recommendations. - Developing functional specifications and collaborating with BASIS and ABAP personnel resources for object development and testing. - Leading and coordinating the work of a small team. - Providing leadership in developing functional skills in others through active knowledge sharing. Qualifications: - Ability to work flexibly and analytically in a problem-solving environment. - Excellent communication skills. - Strong business partnering skills with a customer-oriented approach. - Ability to inspire the team towards achieving business objectives and excellence. - Excellent negotiation, influence, and conflict management abilities. - Self-starter with a proactive approach to taking ownership of priorities and projects. - Post Graduate/Graduate/University degree; CA/ICWA/Cost Accounting degree holders will be given preference.,
