Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bench Resource Engagement Manager to lead the effective management and engagement of bench resources. The primary goal of this role is to minimize infant attrition by ensuring proactive engagement, skill alignment, and deployment readiness of bench talent.
This role is critical in bridging the gap between resource management, project delivery, and employee experience contributing directly to organizational efficiency and employee retention.

Key Responsibilities:
Bench Resource Engagement & Retention
Proactively engage with bench employees (technical and non-technical) to keep them motivated and aligned with organizational goals.
Drive initiatives to reduce infant attrition through structured engagement activities.
Conduct regular 1:1s, check-ins, and team scrums to maintain morale and build connections.
Facilitate and track participation in upskilling programs, knowledge-sharing sessions, or internal projects.
Resource Allocation & Skill Management
Collaborate with delivery and business units to identify upcoming project needs.
Match bench resources (freshers and experienced) with suitable project roles based on skills and career aspirations.
Maintain accurate and updated skill inventory and resource readiness status.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Liaise with HR, Learning & Development, and Business Teams to ensure holistic resource engagement and readiness.
Share timely feedback from bench resources with relevant stakeholders to enable corrective actions.
Provide regular updates to the RMG (Resource Management Group) team on engagement status and bench health metrics.
Talent Development & Deployment
Promote and drive internal job postings (IJPs) to enhance visibility and opportunities for bench employees.
Coordinate technical or domain-specific training sessions to bridge skill gaps.
Ensure timely scheduling of interviews for bench employees to increase deployment success rate.
Reporting & Forecasting
Track and report on bench strength, allocation status, and training progress.
Provide periodic dashboards and reports on fulfillment metrics, billing loss, and bench utilization .
Forecast future bench scenarios and suggest proactive strategies for effective bench management.
Strategic Initiatives
Support strategic initiatives to improve internal fulfillment pipelines for niche skills.
Contribute to improving hiring SLAs by optimizing internal resource deployment.
Recommend and implement best practices in resource and bench management.
Qualifications and Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree (preferably in a technical or engineering discipline).
9 12 years of experience in Resource Management, Delivery Enablement, or Workforce Planning roles.
Strong understanding of IT services and technology project life cycles.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage across all levels of the organization.
Proven ability to manage and motivate individuals and teams not directly reporting to you.
Experience in running engagement activities, team scrums, and career development discussions.
Strong analytical and reporting skills using MS Excel, PowerPoint, or BI tools.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
Good to Have Skills:
Prior experience in handling technical resources or delivery teams.
