Job Title: Salesforce DevOps Architect- Copado Expertise (Preferred) Experience - 8 - 10 years (8+ years of experience in Salesforce development and deployment. and 5+ years of experience in Salesforce DevOps, with a focus on pipeline automation and Git. ) Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce DevOps Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our Salesforce DevOps processes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Salesforce development and deployment lifecycles, with expertise in Salesforce DevOps Center, Git, branching strategies, and pipeline automation. Prior experience with Copado is highly desirable . This role will be instrumental in driving efficiency, quality, and speed in our Salesforce development and release processes. Responsibilities: DevOps Center Implementation and Management: Design, implement, and manage Salesforce DevOps Center to streamline development and deployment processes. Configure and customize DevOps Center to meet specific project and organizational needs. Provide guidance and support to development teams on using DevOps Center effectively. Git and Branching Strategy: Establish and maintain a robust Git repository structure and branching strategy (e.g., Gitflow, GitHub Flow). Ensure proper version control and code management practices. Educate and enforce Git best practices across the development team. DevOps Pipeline Setup and Automation: Design and implement end-to-end DevOps pipelines for Salesforce development, testing, and deployment. Automate build, test, and deployment processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors. Integrate various tools and platforms into the DevOps pipeline. Copado Expertise (Preferred): Leverage prior experience with Copado to optimize and enhance Salesforce DevOps processes. Utilize Copado's features for advanced deployment management, data deployments, and automated testing. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Copado configurations and deployments. End-to-End DevOps Process Management: Define and document the end-to-end Salesforce DevOps process, including development, testing, release, and monitoring. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality. Ensure compliance with industry best practices and security standards. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with development teams, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient deployments. Provide clear and concise documentation and training on DevOps processes and tools. Communicate effectively with management and stakeholders on project status and progress. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce DevOps trends and technologies. Continuously evaluate and improve existing DevOps processes and tools. Identify and implement opportunities for automation and optimization. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in Salesforce development and deployment. 5+ years of experience in Salesforce DevOps, with a focus on pipeline automation and Git. Strong expertise in Salesforce DevOps Center, including configuration and customization. Extensive experience with Git and branching strategies. Proven ability to design and implement end-to-end DevOps pipelines. Prior experience with Copado is highly desirable. Strong understanding of Salesforce metadata and deployment processes. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified DevOps Practitioner, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II, or Salesforce Certified Administrator are a plus. Preferred Skills: Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Apex, JavaScript, Python). Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Provar). Familiarity with Salesforce DX and scratch orgs. Experience with Salesforce security best practices. Show more Show less
