Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Team Leadership & Supervision:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Tele Sales Executives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Conduct daily huddles, weekly reviews.
  • Provide on-the-job training, mentorship, and support to improve performance and skills.

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Assist in developing sales strategies to penetrate international markets.
  • Work closely with marketing for lead generation campaigns and follow-ups.
  • Monitor sales metrics and KPIs; analyse trends to identify opportunities and challenges.

Lead Generation & Prospecting:

  • Oversee and guide research to identify new potential customers and markets.
  • Ensure the team utilizes multiple channels (calls, emails, social media) to generate and qualify leads.
  • Personally handle high-value or complex leads where necessary.

Client Communication & Conversion:

  • Support team in engaging with leads, understanding client needs, and presenting tailored solutions.
  • Review and guide proposal creation, quotations, and negotiation strategies.
  • Ensure smooth coordination with internal departments (Accounts, Operations) for service delivery and invoicing.

Sales Administration & Reporting:

  • Monitor CRM entries and ensure data accuracy and timely updates from the team.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on team performance, conversion rates, and pipeline status to senior management.
  • Ensure invoicing and payment collection is completed within the defined timelines.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Experience:

    Minimum 5 years experience in Sales, with at least 1–2 years in a team lead or supervisory role.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
  • Exposure to both domestic and international sales processes is a plus.
