Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities. The work model for the role is: #Li_Onsite This role is contributing to the Motion business for Large Motors and Generators division based in Vadodara, India You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Offering technical advice and providing comments on enquiry specifications for customers/channels/Sales Engineers regarding ABB’s products/systems/applications.
  • Providing technical support during technical meetings, product presentations, and negotiations.
  • Performing analytics and diagnostic studies to determine the most suitable technical solution to meet the customer needs; and proposing the most suitable technical solutions for complex enquiries.
  • Preparation of costing, order booking & finalization of technical requirement.

Qualifications for the role
  • 6 to 8 years of experience in similar field.
  • Ensures adherence to all relevant internal and statutory regulations and policies.
  • Builds long lasting customer relationships and manages the resolution of their specific needs/issues.
  • Full time engineering graduate with experience into marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers.
  • Creates added value for the customer and ABB and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts, and proposals, by using effective sales techniques.
