We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to promote and sell our innovative student app. The ideal candidate will be passionate about improving the student learning experience, skilled at building relationships with educational institutions and students, and effective at demonstrating how our solution can meet their needs. The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving new business growth and achieving sales targets by engaging with students, parents, and schools.

Key responsibilities

  • Generate leads: Identify and prospect potential customers, including students, parents, and school administrators, through various channels such as cold calling, email campaigns, and networking.
  • Build relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
  • Conduct sales presentations: Present and demonstrate the features and benefits of the student app to potential users and stakeholders. Clearly articulate its value proposition and how it solves specific problems for students and educators.
  • Manage the sales cycle: Guide prospects through the sales pipeline, from initial contact to closing the deal. Handle objections and negotiate terms to secure new sales and achieve quotas.
  • Provide customer support: Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new users and provide ongoing support to existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate internally: Work with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to align sales strategies, share client feedback, and contribute to product improvements.
  • Manage data and reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all sales activities, including leads, pipelines, and performance metrics in the CRM system.
  • Stay informed: Keep up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and new product updates to maintain a competitive edge.

Skills and qualifications

  • Experience: Proven sales experience, preferably in the EdTech or education sector. Experience in B2C or inside sales is a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Interpersonal skills: Strong ability to build rapport and effectively engage with a diverse audience, including students, parents, and educational professionals.
  • Motivation: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient, with a strong work ethic.
  • Product knowledge: Deep understanding of the student app's features, benefits, and applications. The ability to quickly learn and adapt to new product offerings is essential.
  • Technical proficiency: Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant digital platforms.
  • Educational background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field is often preferred.
  • Organizational skills: Strong time management and organizational skills to handle a high volume of leads and manage the sales process effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
