To excel in this role, you should have a basic understanding of PHP and the Laravel framework through projects or coursework, knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL and basic SQL queries, strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail, a willingness to learn and work in a collaborative team environment, good communication skills, the ability to accept constructive feedback, and familiarity with RESTful APIs and MVC architecture.
