Job Description

Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead Generation & Customer Acquisition: Identify potential customers through field visits, cold calls, digital platforms, and referral networks. Attend to walk-in inquiries, explain product offerings, and convert leads into sales. Maintain proper records of leads, prospects, and follow-ups in CRM/Google Sheets. 2. Sales & Business Development: Conduct site visits to assess feasibility of solar installations. Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and ROI calculations to customers. Negotiate pricing, close deals, and achieve monthly sales targets. 3. Marketing Activities: Plan and execute local marketing campaigns (posters, banners, events, and social media promotion). Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, and community events to generate brand awareness. Support digital marketing efforts by sharing on-ground updates, customer testimonials, and case studies. 4. Coordination & Reporting: Work closely with technical and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution. Provide feedback to management on customer needs, market trends, and competitor activity. Submit daily/weekly sales reports and pipeline updates. 5. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to generate repeat business. Ensure timely after-sales support by coordinating with the service team. Take customer feedback and escalate issues to improve service quality. Skills & Competencies:Strong communication and negotiation skills (Hindi required, basic English preferred). Good understanding of solar energy systems (training will be provided). Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace (Excel, Sheets, Slides). Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently. Good presentation and convincing ability. Qualification & Experience:Minimum: Graduate in any stream (BBA, B.Com, B.Sc., BE preferred). 1–3 years of experience in sales/marketing preferred (solar/renewable energy/FMCG/consumer durables background is a plus). Freshers with excellent communication and sales aptitude can also apply. Other Requirements:Willing to travel for field visits and site inspections. Must wear SOLXCELL uniform and maintain a professional appearance. Ability to work under pressure to meet sales targets. Basic knowledge of ROI calculations and payback period will be an advantage.
