Job Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales team to achieve dealership sales targets, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities1. Team Management & Leadership

  • Recruit, train, and motivate the sales team (executives, telecallers, field agents).

  • Conduct daily morning briefings and evening performance reviews.
  • Monitor discipline, attendance, and field reporting through WhatsApp/CRM updates.

  • Ensure achievement of showroom and individual sales targets (vehicle + accessories + insurance + finance).
  • Track enquiry-to-retail conversion ratios and take corrective actions where needed.
  • Implement local marketing and promotional activities (canopy displays, corporate visits, roadshows).

3. Customer Handling & Escalation

  • Personally handle premium and escalated customers to ensure satisfaction and closure.
  • Supervise proper test drive management and showroom experience for all walk-in customers.
  • Ensure timely follow-up of leads and bookings until delivery.
  • Promote cross-selling of finance, insurance, and extended warranties.

4. Reporting & Coordination

  • Maintain daily enquiry, booking, and retail MIS reports.
  • Coordinate with back-office, accounts, and delivery teams for smooth operations.
  • Share daily performance reports with the management via WhatsApp/Google Sheets.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities, and provide actionable feedback.

5. Training & Development

  • Conduct weekly training sessions on product knowledge, objection handling, and sales process.
  • Groom high-performing executives for senior roles.
  • Maintain professionalism, teamwork, and a performance-driven culture in the showroom.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate / Postgraduate (MBA in Sales or Marketing preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of automobile sales experience, including team handling.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, CRM tools, and digital marketing basics.
  • Must hold a valid driving license (two-wheeler & four-wheeler).
