Job Summary

The Accountant is responsible for managing all accounting operations related to sales, purchases, bank transactions, expenses, and reconciliation for the dealership. The role ensures financial accuracy, timely reporting, and compliance with company policies and statutory norms.

Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally / DMS / Excel.
  • Record all sales, purchase, expense, and journal vouchers accurately.
  • Prepare and verify bills, receipts, and payment vouchers.
  • Maintain separate books for Hyundai, Honda RedWing, and Honda BigWing units.

2. Bank & Cash Management

  • Handle cash and bank transactions with proper documentation.
  • Prepare daily cash position and deposit reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure timely clearance of cheques and RTGS.
  • Monitor customer payments, finance payouts, and dealer collections.

3. GST, TDS & Compliance

  • Prepare and maintain records for GST input/output, TDS deduction, and returns filing.
  • Coordinate with CA for monthly and annual filings.
  • Ensure timely submission of dealer claims and OEM-related reimbursements.
  • Maintain compliance with statutory and audit requirements.

4. Reporting & MIS

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial statements (sales, expenses, receivables).
  • Track outstanding dues from customers and follow up for collection.
  • Prepare reports for management review and internal audits.
  • Support management in cost control and profitability analysis.

5. Coordination & Support

  • Coordinate with Sales, Service, and Parts departments for invoice reconciliation.
  • Support HR in payroll processing and expense settlements.
  • Assist external auditors during audit sessions.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com preferred).
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in accounting (Automobile dealership experience preferred).
  • Proficient in Tally ERP, Excel, and Google Sheets.
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting standards.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • High integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
