About the Role

Crops Nexus India Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced and result-driven Sales Manager who can independently handle trading, and sales of multiple agri commodities—Fruits & Vegetables.

This is a high-ownership role where the candidate is expected to bring their own strong seller network, and proven trading experience to generate continuous turnover for the company.

Key Responsibilities

Business Acquisition & Trading

  • Independently generate B2B business across agri segments Fruits & Vegetables.
  • Build, manage, and grow buyer accounts, institutional clients, processors, wholesalers, and retailers.
  • Identify and develop new trading opportunities across India.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly turnover targets.

Sourcing & Procurement

  • Evaluate market price trends and negotiate best procurement prices.
  • Ensure quality, quantity, and timely supply of commodities.

P&L Ownership

  • Own the profit margins of each trade.
  • Price negotiation, margin calculation, and backend sourcing management.
  • Ensure business is profitable and sustainable.

Operations & Coordination

  • Coordinate with logistics, quality, operations, and finance teams.
  • Ensure smooth loading, unloading, documentation, and payment cycles.
  • Handle sampling, quality inspection, and order tracking.

Market Intelligence

  • Daily monitoring of market price fluctuations, demand-supply trends, and competitor activity.
  • Keep management updated with insights and actionable strategies.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure all transactions follow company norms.
  • Manage buyer-seller agreements, contracts, invoices, GRNs, etc.

Candidate Requirements

Mandatory Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B Agri Commodity Trading.
  • Strong network of both suppliers (farmers/FPOs/traders) and buyers (companies/importers/retailers).
  • Proven track record of executing high-value commodity trades independently.
  • Ability to generate turnover from Day 1 with existing connections.

Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of agri commodities, pricing, procurement methods, and logistics.
  • Strong relationship management and communication.
  • Ability to work without supervision and deliver results under pressure.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership attitude.
