Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our team of Sales Engineers and drive business growth. The Sales Manager will be responsible for business development, overseeing client quotations, handling negotiations, coordinating technical discussions, and ensuring seamless execution of projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and industry expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development

  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the company’s market presence.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, EPC companies, and industrial partners.
  • Oversee and support Sales Engineers in lead generation, client engagement, and project acquisition.

2. Team Leadership & Management

  • Supervise and mentor a team of Sales Engineers, ensuring targets are met.
  • Set and monitor sales performance goals, KPIs, and incentive structures.
  • Provide training, guidance, and motivation to the sales team.

3. Client Communication & Negotiation

  • Manage and review client quotations to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
  • Lead negotiations with clients to close deals while maximizing profitability.
  • Coordinate with the technical team to support complex discussions and resolve client queries.

4. Technical & Project Coordination

  • Work closely with the technical and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of projects.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, products, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Assist in developing proposals and presentations for key clients.

5. Service & Revenue Growth

  • Identify opportunities for aftermarket service revenue (e.g., maintenance contracts, spare parts sales).
  • Develop strategies to enhance client retention and increase repeat business.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5* years of experience* in B2B sales, preferably in the engineering, electrical, or industrial sector.
  • Proven experience in managing a sales team and meeting revenue targets.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to understand technical specifications and coordinate with engineering teams.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Zoho CRM), MS Office, and sales reporting tools.
