JOB OVERVIEW:

Senior Lead

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic & P&L Leadership

  • Develop and execute

    a national strategic plan to achieve aggressive growth targets within the Engineering Polymers segment, focusing on high-volume products like

    Polystyrene (PS)

    and

    Polycarbonate (PC)

    .
  • Spearhead

    the end-to-end P&L management for the EP division, monitoring revenue, costs, and profit margins to ensure long-term financial health and sustainability.
  • Formulate

    advanced pricing strategies and product positioning based on in-depth competitor analysis and market intelligence.
  • Drive market expansion

    by identifying and launching new high-value polymer grades and product lines based on emerging industry needs.

Sales and Client Management

  • Lead the sales

    and distribution efforts for the Engineering Polymers portfolio across key industrial sectors in India.
  • Acquire and manage

    a portfolio of strategic, enterprise-level clients, focusing on manufacturers and large trading houses, ensuring maximum account saturation and retention.
  • Manage complex sales cycles

    from strategic prospecting and qualification through high-stakes contract negotiation and deal closure.
  • Champion Consultative Selling

    , providing technical expertise to clients on material selection, application suitability, and processing optimization.
  • Cultivate

    influential relationships with C-suite and senior technical stakeholders within client organizations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Operations

  • Collaborate closely

    with the logistics and supply chain teams to ensure efficient, PAN-India distribution and timely fulfillment of client orders.
  • Coordinate

    with internal technical and finance teams to ensure seamless delivery and optimal customer experience.
  • Leverage proprietary data and technology

    (e.g., Distribution Management Systems/CRM) to optimize sales operations, forecasting accuracy, and pipeline visibility.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years

    of progressive experience in

    B2B or Enterprise Sales

    , with a significant focus on

    Engineering Polymers

    (Polystyrene, Polycarbonate, Nylon, ABS, etc.) or related specialty chemicals.
  • Proven track record

    of developing and driving sales initiatives and managing large revenue targets in a highly competitive distribution or manufacturing environment.
  • In-depth understanding

    of the Indian polymer market, including key consumption industries (automotive, electronics, packaging), competitor strategies, and market trends.
  • Strong networking

    and relationship-building capability, with an existing network within the EP industry.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and

    negotiation skills

    .
  • A Bachelors or Masters degree in Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related technical/business field is required
