Recro Kardo, based in Delhi, is an Architecture, Interior, and Landscape Design studio that originated in 2004 under Principal Architect Rajat Kumar. The studio aims to revive the inherent relationships that bind all existence through the use of geometric principles, spatial configurations, materials, and light. Our collaborative team consists of architects, graphic designers, and senior artist-academicians, working closely with consultants in various fields including structural design, air-conditioning, and electrical & automation. Job Title: Sales Executive - Architecture & Interior Design Services
Location: New Delhi
Experience: 3-7 years
Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related design/built environment field.
The Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in driving new business, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the firm's growth by securing high-value architecture and interior design projects. This role requires a unique blend of sales acumen, an understanding of design principles, and strong technical proficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Client Engagement & Needs Assessment:
* Actively identify and prospect potential clients for architecture and interior design projects across various sectors (e.g., commercial, residential, hospitality, institutional).
* Conduct in-depth meetings with prospective clients to thoroughly understand their vision, business objectives, project requirements, budget, and timelines.
* Translate client needs into clear, actionable briefs for the design team.
* Proposal Development & Presentation:
* Collaborate closely with the design and technical teams to craft compelling and customized design proposals, scope of work documents, and service agreements.
* Prepare detailed fee proposals, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project scope and firm profitability goals.
* Develop and deliver persuasive presentations (PowerPoint) to potential clients, effectively articulating the firm's value proposition, design philosophy, and project approach.
* Negotiation & Closing:
* Lead commercial negotiations with clients, addressing objections and finding mutually beneficial solutions.
* Strongly follow up on all leads and proposals to ensure timely progression of sales cycle.
* Successfully close deals, secure signed contracts, and ensure a smooth handover to the project delivery team.
* Coordination & Collaboration:
* Act as the primary liaison between clients and the internal design, project management, and technical teams during the pre-contract phase.
* Ensure seamless communication and information flow to guarantee that client expectations are met and project requirements are accurately conveyed.
* Technical & Financial Acumen:
* Demonstrate a solid understanding of architectural and interior design processes, construction methodologies, and industry best practices.
* Possess a good understanding of design and construction costs, enabling realistic proposal generation and effective client discussions.
* Proficiency in preparing Bill of Quantities (BoQ) for preliminary costing.
* Excellent command of MS Office Suite, especially Excel for costings/data, Word for proposals, and PowerPoint for presentations.
* Market Intelligence:
* Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging design and construction technologies.
* Identify new business opportunities and potential areas for firm specialization.
* Relationship Management:
* Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.
* Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Experience: [Specify range, e.g., 3-7 years] of proven sales or business development experience, preferably within the architecture, interior design, real estate, construction, or a related B2B service industry.
* Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related design/built environment discipline is highly preferred.

* Technical Understanding: Fundamental understanding of design principles, construction processes, materials, and costing. Ability to read and interpret design drawings is a plus.
* Software Proficiency: Highly proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) is beneficial but not mandatory for this role.
* Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to articulate complex design concepts clearly and persuasively.
* Interpersonal Skills: Pleasant personality with strong interpersonal and networking abilities.
* Proactiveness: Self-motivated, highly organized, and proactive with a strong sense of urgency and excellent follow-up skills.
