Job Description

Role & responsibilities

To build, manage, and scale Falgu Industries sales and distribution network in Bangalore, Ranchi and Dhanbad including distributors, wholesalers, kirana stores, puja stores, and modern trade, and achieve consistent monthly sales growth.

This is a hands-on role, not a desk job.

Preferred candidate profile

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Entry & Sales Development

Launch and expand Falgu products in Bangalore & nearby cities

Appoint and manage:

Distributors

Sub-distributors

Wholesalers

Retailers (kirana, puja stores, supermarkets)

Open new accounts and ensure monthly order flow

Identify high-potential areas (BTM, Yelahanka, Whitefield, KR Market, Yeshwanthpur, etc.)

2. Distributor & Channel Management

Negotiate margins, schemes, and payment terms

Ensure proper product placement, visibility & stock rotation

Monitor secondary sales and stock movement

Handle distributor grievances and resolve issues fast

3. Sales Team & Field Execution

Recruit and manage:

Sales Executives / Sales Promoters (as required)

Set daily beat plans and visit targets

Review performance and push for numbers

4. Pricing, Schemes & Promotions

Implement company pricing and promotional schemes

Suggest market-driven offers (combo packs, festival schemes)

Coordinate with Head Office for discounts and bulk orders

Track competitor pricing (Cycle, Mangaldeep, local brands)

5. Reporting & Coordination

Daily / weekly reporting:

Orders booked

Collections

New outlets added

Market feedback

Share Bangalore market insights with management

Coordinate with production, logistics & accounts teams

6. Collections & Credit Control

Ensure timely payments from distributors

Control credit exposure

Reduce overdue and bad debts

Coordinate with accounts team on reconciliation

Stock freshness & repeat orders

Candidate Profile

Strong FMCG sales background

Bangalore,Dhanbad and Ranchi distributor network knowledge

Comfortable with fieldwork & travel

Negotiation & people-management skills

Kannada + English (Hindi preferred)
