Job Description

About the Role:

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and promoting industrial automation products
The role involves identifying potential clients, understanding their requirements, providing product demonstrations, negotiating terms, and ensuring smooth order processing and payment follow-up
The candidate will maintain strong customer relationships, coordinate internally for seamless execution, and work towards achieving sales targets while contributing to overall business growth

Responsibilities:

Generate leads through cold calling, networking & market research
Build and convert sales pipeline for industrial automation products (CIJ, TTO, TIJ, laser printers, sensors, encoders, conveyors, etc )
Engage with customers to identify needs, present solutions & close deals
Prepare quotations, maintain documentation & follow up for orders/payments
Maintain customer relationships and provide post-sales support
Share regular reports (sales plan, pipeline, orders & payments) with management
Collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets

Requirements:

2-8 years of industrial field sales experience (automation/packaging preferred)
Excellent communication & negotiation skills (English proficiency)
Proficient with MS Office & CRM tools
Own 2-wheeler with valid license and willing to travel extensively
Target-driven, proactive and customer-focused
