Sales Director – India Business

What You’ll Do

  • Own and execute the India growth strategy

    for IT, digital, and AI services across enterprise customers and GCCs.
  • Develop and drive GTM plans

    for priority sectors, offerings, and target accounts, aligning with global sales and practice leaders.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline

    through hunting, account mapping, and proactive outreach to CXOs, business heads, and technology leaders.
  • Lead the full sales cycle

    – from prospecting, qualification, solution positioning, and proposal creation through to negotiation and closure.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams

    (delivery, solutioning, marketing, product/practice) to craft differentiated value propositions and client-ready narratives.
  • Represent Tavant in the India market

    as a trusted advisor, bringing market intelligence, competitive insights, and client feedback back into our GTM, offerings, and pricing.
  • Meet and exceed revenue, margin, and pipeline KPIs

    , while establishing a repeatable, scalable sales motion for the India and GCC business.


What You’ll Bring

  • 12+ years of experience

    in B2B sales and business development in the

    India IT services / digital / AI services

    market.
  • Proven track record of

    selling IT and managed services, digital engineering, and/or data & AI solutions

    to large Indian enterprises and GCCs.
  • Deep understanding of

    India market dynamics

    , sourcing models (GCCs, GICs, captives), and the competitive landscape across IT and digital services.
  • Demonstrated experience

    creating and executing GTM strategies

    , territory plans, and account roadmaps that deliver sustained revenue growth.
  • Strong

    C-level and senior stakeholder management skills

    with the ability to shape demand, handle complex deal cycles, and negotiate win-win commercial constructs.
  • Ability to

    work as a high-performing individual contributor

    , while collaborating effectively with cross-functional global teams.
  • Excellent

    communication, storytelling, and executive presentation

    skills – in writing and in person.
  • Bachelor’s degree required;

    MBA or equivalent advanced degree

    preferred.
