Job Brief
We are seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) with extensive experience in U.S. outbound lead generation to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying potential customers, generating new business opportunities, and managing leads through the sales pipeline. This role is crucial in ensuring our sales team has a steady flow of qualified leads to convert into customers.ResponsibilitiesConduct Outbound Prospecting: Initiate contact with potential customers through cold calls, emails, and social media outreach to generate interest in our products and services.Lead Qualification: Assess and qualify leads based on predetermined criteria (e.g., BANT - Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline) to ensure they meet our ideal customer profile.Set Appointments: Schedule meetings for the sales team with qualified leads to facilitate the sales process.Maintain CRM Records: Use CRM software to track interactions, manage leads, and report on progress towards sales goals.Collaborate with Sales and Marketing Teams: Work closely with both teams to refine lead generation strategies and ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads.Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities for outreach.Performance Reporting: Provide regular updates on lead generation activities, conversion rates, and overall performance metrics.QualificationsExperience: Minimum of 3 years in outbound lead generation or sales development, preferably in a B2B environment.Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.Skills:Strong communication skills (verbal and written).Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).Ability to build rapport and establish relationships with potential clients.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Number of outbound contacts made per day/week.Number of appointments set with qualified leads.Lead-to-opportunity conversion rate.Overall contribution to the sales pipeline.
