Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated
Sales Coordinator
with 3+ years of experience
in the cable industry
and sales support
for manufacturing or cable supply companies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating sales activities, managing customer relationships, processing orders, and supporting the sales team to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This role requires strong communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and a solid understanding of the cable manufacturing or supply business.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support:
Assist the sales team in generating and processing sales orders, quotations, and proposals. Coordinate with customers to understand their requirements and provide timely updates.
Order Management:
Process and track customer orders, ensuring timely delivery and follow-up. Maintain order status and update customers on delivery schedules. Ensure that all orders are accurately entered into the system.
Customer Relationship Management:
Act as the main point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring excellent customer service. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Sales Coordination:
Coordinate with the production, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure that products are manufactured, stocked, and delivered as per customer requirements. Provide support for sales forecasting and planning.
Quotation & Pricing Support:
Assist in preparing price quotes, ensuring that they are competitive and aligned with company pricing strategies. Monitor pricing trends and update the team on any changes in market conditions.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain and organize all sales-related documentation, including customer orders, sales reports, contracts, and communication logs. Prepare regular sales reports for the management team.
Product Knowledge:
Develop a deep understanding of the cable products, including specifications, applications, and industry standards. Assist the sales team by providing technical product information to customers.
Market Intelligence:
Monitor market trends and competitor activities in the cable industry. Share insights with the sales and marketing teams to help identify new sales opportunities and refine sales strategies.
Sales Team Support:
Provide administrative and logistical support to the sales team, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and coordinating sales visits or events.
Complaint Resolution:
Handle customer complaints professionally, coordinate with relevant teams for resolution, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum 3 years
of experience in sales coordination
or a similar role, preferably within the cable industry
or manufacturing
and supply companies
.
Industry Knowledge:
Strong understanding of the cable manufacturing
and supply industry
, including cable types, specifications, and applications. Experience in a B2B sales environment is a plus.
Sales Experience:
Proven track record of supporting the sales team in generating leads, handling customer inquiries, and providing administrative support. Ability to assist in the preparation of sales proposals and contracts.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Organization & Multitasking:
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Software Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho). Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
Customer-Focused:
A customer-centric approach with the ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues quickly and professionally.
Education:
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration
