Genie, simplifies product formulation, manufacturing, and market delivery — helping

companies go from concept to shelf faster and more efficiently.


We’re looking for a Management Trainee – Sales to join our Genie division. This role is

designed for ambitious professionals who want to build a career in B2B business

development, supply chain partnerships, and nutraceutical commerce.


Role Overview:

As a Management Trainee – Sales / Marketing, you’ll support the business development

team in lead generation, client engagement, market research, and pre-sales activities.

You’ll get hands-on exposure to the commercial engine of the nutraceutical industry —

from sourcing qualified leads to managing CRM systems and supporting deal closures.


Key Responsibilities:

• Support the sales and partnership team in acquiring and engaging clients in the

pharma, nutraceutical, wellness, and FMCG sectors.

• Conduct market research and prospecting to identify new business opportunities

and target accounts.

• Assist in preparing sales decks, client proposals, and pitch materials.

• Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, technical, product) for seamless client

support.

• Maintain and update the sales CRM, ensuring data accuracy and activity tracking.

• Schedule meetings, follow-ups, and demos for senior business leaders.

• Track and report weekly progress on leads, opportunities, and conversions.

• Learn and contribute to end-to-end B2B sales funnel management — from

prospecting to closure.



Skills & Attributes:

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Analytical and data-driven mindset.

• Excellent coordination and multitasking abilities.

• Eagerness to learn the business development process.

• Basic understanding of the nutraceutical / pharma ecosystem is a plus.

• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot / Zoho).

Education & Background:

• MBA / PGDM in Marketing, Business Management, or Life Sciences.

• B.Sc / B.Pharm / B.Tech (Biotech / Food Tech) preferred.

• Prior internship or project in Pharma / Nutra BD will be an advantage.


Growth Path:

After 12–18 months of successful performance, the Management Trainee will progress to

an Assistant Manager – Sales or Partnerships role with independent client ownership and

revenue responsibility.
