This role helps achieve sales growth through three main areas of responsibility: maintaining an existing portfolio, obtaining new business, and as required selling modernization and repairs.On a typical day you will:Manage a portfolio of elevator units through maintaining good working relationships with existing customersServe as primary contact for timely resolution of customer needs surrounding inquiriesDevelop build-on repair and modernization sales through networking, bids and tendersDevelop your own sales strategy to achieve sales targets, ensuring profitabilityUse Otis sales tools to effectively track opportunities, pipeline, and forecast sales resultsConduct sales negotiations and close deals, ensuring payment on timeCollaborate with fellow team members, including other sales representatives and field colleaguesWhat you will need to be successful (adjust for local regulations)You have a business or technical degree or have completed training as a technician or business administratorYou have initial experience in the sale of technical products requiring consultationYou have a strong customer and service orientation, including excellent interpersonal skillsYou are characterized by a high level of commitment and reliability, with a drive to deliver resultsYou are target focused, with the ability to work at pace in a demanding, complex, corporate organizationAdd any additional local requirements here
