Job Title: Sales Assistant – Fabrication Manufacturing Location: Pune, Maharashtra Job Type: Full-Time Salary: Competitive, based on experience Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to support our sales operations within the fabrication manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will assist the sales team in managing client accounts, processing orders, and coordinating with production and logistics to ensure timely delivery of fabricated products. Key Responsibilities: Client Interaction: Assist in responding to customer inquiries and provide product information. Maintain and update customer records in the CRM system. Order Processing: Process sales orders and ensure accurate documentation. Coordinate with production and logistics teams to track order status and delivery schedules. Sales Support: Prepare sales reports and presentations for internal meetings. Monitor inventory levels and liaise with the procurement team for stock replenishment. Administrative Tasks: Manage and organize sales documentation, including invoices and delivery notes. Schedule meetings and appointments for the sales team. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 2–3 years of experience in sales support or administrative roles, preferably in manufacturing or fabrication industries. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM software. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of fabrication processes and materials. Experience with inventory management systems. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints.
