Compensation: ₹ 3,000–4,000 / month + Target-based incentives

Role Summary

As an Academic Counselling Intern, you will work alongside our counselling team to:

Engage with prospective and current students

Provide course-selection advice and career guidance

Support the enrollment process

Handle objections and negotiate pricing (under guidance)

Maintain student records and track performance

Take part in team meetings and training

Key Responsibilities

Assist in career counselling and enrollment tasks

Help meet and exceed enrollment targets

Advise students on selecting courses and planning their academic pathways

Respond to student enquiries via phone, email, or in person

Counsel both prospective and currently enrolled students

Handle objections and support price negotiation (with seniors)

Keep accurate and up-to-date student records

Participate in team activities, training, and feedback sessions

Qualifications

12th pass

Currently pursuing B.Com / M.Com (or equivalent)

Fresher candidates are welcome

Good understanding of commerce courses and career paths

Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written)

Strong interpersonal skills — friendly, empathetic, and supportive

Organized and detail-oriented, with ability to manage records

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Respect for confidentiality and handling of sensitive student information

Reporting & Supervision

You will report to the Head of Academic Counselling / Department Lead

You’ll receive mentorship, feedback, and training throughout the internship
