Education

  • Bachelors Degree
  • MBA in Sales/Marketing/Healthcare is preferred

Experience

  • 515 years of experience in healthcare sales, corporate hospital or specialty care
  • Proven track record in referral network building and territory development
  • Prior exposure to promoting elective surgeries or specialty treatments (like LASIK, ENT, or Cochlear implants) is a plus.

Skills

  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • Strong understanding of Mumbais medical referral ecosystem
  • Comfortable with CRM systems, digital lead tools, and field reporting
  • Highly self-driven, with strong planning and time management
Job Description: -
  • Focused Promotion of Key Surgical Offerings
  • Lead all on-ground promotion and outreach for:
  • LASIK (Laser Vision Correction)
  • Cataract Surgeries
  • ENT Procedures (sinus surgeries, tympanoplasty, tonsillectomy, etc.)
  • Cochlear Implant Programs
  • Work closely with the concerned surgical teams and heads of department to understand core value propositions, technology differentiators, and patient pathways.
  • Doctor Relationship & Referral Development
  • Build strong relationships with General physicians, Optometrists, Ophthalmologists, ENT specialists, audiologists, paediatricians and other specialists who can refer cases.
  • Conduct structured field visits to map referral influencers and collaborate with them through:
  • In-clinic meetings
  • Focused CMEs and knowledge sessions
  • Relationship-building activities and service updates
  • Track referral performance per doctor and territory and ensure smooth conversion of referred patients to surgeries.
  • Community Outreach & Activation
  • Plan and execute localized health awareness campaigns, especially around vision and hearing health.
  • Partner with:
  • RWAs, senior citizen groups, schools (for pediatric ENT & cochlear implants)
  • Local health kiosks and wellness aggregators
  • Community leaders in identified territories
  • Conduct and support Eye and ENT screening camps, pre-op counseling sessions, and awareness drives in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Digital Activation & Campaign Alignment
  • Coordinate with the Digital Marketing Team to:
  • Run geo-targeted campaigns for LASIK, Cataract, ENT, and Cochlear surgeries
  • Share on-ground insights to sharpen targeting and messaging
  • Ensure real-time follow-up on inbound leads and digital enquiries
  • Suggest ideas for SMS, WhatsApp, and social media creatives based on patient FAQs and objections gathered from fieldwork.
  • Business Development & Expansion
  • Prepare and implement catchment-wise market development plans, starting with South Mumbai and expanding to:
  • Ghatkopar
  • Chembur
  • Worli
  • Andheri
  • Santa Cruz
  • Bandra
  • Benchmark local competition, identify service gaps, and tap into under-penetrated localities.
  • Internal Collaboration & Reporting
  • Coordinate closely with:
  • Clinical teams for patient education and consultation scheduling
  • Operations team for surgery slot management
  • Finance for package-related clarity and affordability offerings
  • Maintain structured CRM and MIS reports for:
  • Lead tracking
  • Source-wise performance
  • Revenue contribution
  • Conversion ratios
