About the Role

We at Evolve Artisanal are looking for a driven Sales & Business Development Executive with 1–3 years of experience in architectural/interior products or building materials. The ideal candidate is proactive, target-oriented, and understands how to build strong client relationships while navigating the AEC ecosystem.

This role involves lead generation, client meetings, product presentations, and closing deals with a consultative, solution-driven approach to support the expansion of Evolve’s premium surfaces in Hyderabad.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, connect with, and pitch to architects, interior designers, contractors, builders, and OEMs.
  • Generate new leads through research, outreach, and networking.
  • Conduct 4–5 meetings daily, ensuring a strong and consistent pipeline.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients and channel partners.
  • Present product collections, samples, and technical details with clarity and confidence.
  • Track leads, opportunities, and follow-ups through CRM tools.
  • Coordinate sample dispatches, catalog sharing, and meeting scheduling.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for order processing and timely deliveries.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Represent the brand at exhibitions, client events, and product training when required.
  • Travel outstation as required for high-value order closures and key account meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Design, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of B2B sales experience in interiors, furniture, laminates, tiles, hardware, or related fields.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable with daily field work.
  • Knowledge of the Hyderabad A&D ecosystem is a plus.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Sheets, Docs)

Soft Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially for professional email correspondence.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Street-smart, confident, and able to think on their feet in client meetings.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple leads and follow-ups.
  • Comfortable with local and interstate travel for project requirements.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and target-driven.

Preferred Candidates

  • Experience in wall finishes, building materials, architectural products, or paint industry.
  • Candidates with their own laptop and two-wheeler will be prioritised.
