Key Responsibilities

Experience: 7 12 Years

  • The individual will have sales responsibility for customer relationships and performance of an assigned customer portfolio in Cold Chain client base in North India.
  • New Customer Acquisition, renewals in line with priorities of the Area. This would be most important Objective
  • Manage assigned customers and budget base – with a view of build a portfolio and business plan for the next 3 years.
  • Develop customer value propositions for all appropriate business opportunities. Strive for consultative sales to distinguish market presence by effectively probing and identifying needs and suggesting solutions to help customers.
  • Build a good understanding of target customers and the assigned account base (contact, commodities, trade lanes, type of business, contract information including exceptions and service requirements).
  • Establish internal network in India cluster and globally to facilitate resolution of customer issues.
  • Build understanding of all service offerings to be able to offer integrated solutions.
  • Communicate significant trends, rate changes and policies to assigned accounts.
  • Ensure Customer Relationship Management tools (Salesforce.com) are updated on time and with high-quality data.

Who we are looking for:

  • Experience: 7 – 12 Years

  • Prefer candidates who understand the geography, shipping industry, containerized business, and customer base.

  • Must have shipping or freight forwarding experience

  • You should possess enthusiasm, a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
  • Logistics work experience of

    5-7 years

    .
  • Would need a certain amount of travel, within the country – depending on business needs
  • Ability to interact with senior stakeholders and build good engagement levels
  • A self-starter, who can work with complex business solutions and work through ambiguity.
  • Should be able to be in the constant hunt for new business and ensure their movement through the sales cycle.
  • You should have excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills (both written and oral).
  • In addition, you should have organizational and time management skills including multitasking, prioritising, and the ability to plan work activities efficiently to meet deadlines.
