The Channel Account Manager is responsible for partner administration, account renewals, upgrades, customer service, and maintenance escalation activities. You will efficiently and timely coordinate all channel partner support requirements. Your role will involve pitching, qualifying, and closing data center maintenance contract renewals and upgrades, using technical selling skills and offering knowledge to partners. You will sell consultatively, make recommendations to prospects and clients regarding various solutions the company offers to address their business issues. Managing opportunities throughout the entire solution selling process, you will leverage various sales tools and resources during the closing process. Identifying decision-makers and influencers, you will also develop relationships with personnel at various levels within accounts, interacting with individuals and groups in various roles. Timely communication via phone calls and on-site visits will be initiated as necessary. Additionally, you will collaborate with the EVP of Sales to develop an annual sales plan detailing activities throughout the fiscal year to focus on meeting or exceeding quotas. Your responsibilities will also include coordinating and driving strategic conversations and business initiatives between territory reps and partners, building, developing, and reporting on a pipeline of opportunities, understanding the competitive landscape, pricing, and proposal models, and deciding when to involve additional company resources to address specific sales and technical issues. Documenting activities in the CRM program, staying current with industry changes in technology, and the company's objectives will also be part of your role. You are expected to adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes, actively participate in training and educational programs, assess time management effectiveness, prepare reports, handle quote delivery, assist with opportunity creation and revisions as needed, and respond to miscellaneous channel partner and customer requests. Proactively establishing and maintaining positive professional relationships internally and externally, aligned with the company's core values, is crucial. Requirements: - Ten (10) years of sales experience, including IT-oriented sales; knowledge of computers, servers, storage, and the ability to provide integrated solutions to prospects and customers is beneficial. - Prior Territory Sales Representative experience is necessary. - Bachelor's degree required. Understand client integration requirements and system capabilities and be able to translate accordingly. Work closely with the client and ATS representatives to identify account setup and integration requirements. Work closely with Onboarding to properly configure clients for specific integrations, taking into account any client specific initiatives/requirements. Provide support for integration testing. Qualifications: - A familiarity with integrated API solutions and ability to explain technical solutions to clients. - Ability to understand complex requirements and unique solutions. - Strong critical thinking and communication skills combined with a commitment and proven ability to succeed within a fast-paced organization. - Strong overall interpersonal skills and a history exceeding client expectations. - Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution. - Self-Starter, ability to work independently and get things done. - Basic knowledge of XML and JSON required. - Basic knowledge of SQL and databases required. - Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required. - Experience with related tools such as Postman, SOAP UI, etc., a plus. - Background Screening experience a plus.
