Job Description

Hiring Safety Officer with 2+ years of experience in the automobile industry Marathi speaking preferred.

Manufacturing Operations (Plant / Production)

Ensure compliance with
Factory Act, OSH Standards, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001, and company HSE policies
across production lines.
Conduct
HIRA, JSA, and Risk Assessments
for press shop, weld shop, machine shop, paint shop, assembly line, testing facilities & industrial utilities.
Implement and monitor
Machine Guarding, LOTO, Energy Isolation, and Safety Interlocks
for robotic, automated, and conveyor-based operations.
Monitor safe operations of
CNC machines, presses, robotic arms, hydraulic systems, material handling equipment, forklifts & EOT cranes
.
Ensure compliance in
chemical safety management
, including paint booth operations, solvents, lubricants, MSDS, spill control, and hazardous waste handling.
Conduct
safety inductions, toolbox talks, refresher training, competency assessments & behavioral safety training
for employees and contractors.
Inspect
fire safety systems (hydrants, extinguishers, sprinklers, alarms), emergency showers, confined space entry, electrical panels, and ventilation systems
.
Maintain statutory documentation:
incident reports, near-miss records, monthly MIS, permit records, audits, PPE inventory, legal compliance registers
.
Ensure
ergonomics compliance
at assembly lines to reduce repetitive strain injuries and fatigue.
