Qualification: Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Engineering or Safety Management; NEBOSH/IOSH certification preferred

Job Summary:

The Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and enforcing safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards across all MEP works. The role includes site inspections, risk assessments, incident investigation, training, and promoting a strong safety culture among all project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement site-specific HSE plans for MEP projects.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Ensure that all MEP activities (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, etc.) adhere to safety standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and job safety analysis (JSA) for high-risk tasks.
• Lead accident and incident investigations; provide root cause analysis and corrective action reports.
• Provide safety orientation and ongoing training to workers and subcontractors.
• Monitor and ensure use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.
• Maintain and submit safety records, audits, and compliance reports.
• Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and government safety inspectors.
• Promote a positive safety culture through campaigns, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions.
• Ensure emergency preparedness and coordinate safety drills.

Skills & Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of local safety laws and international safety standards (OSHA, ISO 45001, etc.)
• Experience with MEP-specific safety risks and mitigation techniques
• Strong communication, leadership, and training abilities
• Proficient in safety documentation and report writing
• NEBOSH IGC / IOSH / OSHA or equivalent certification is mandatory
• Familiar with construction safety software/tools is a plus

Work Conditions:

• Based at construction sites with exposure to varying environmental conditions
• May require travel between project locations
• Must be available for emergency response as required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
