Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Manager EHS

  • Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and systems in alignment with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and applicable national regulations.
  • Lead a geographically dispersed team of EHS professionals, ensuring consistent safety practices across all locations.
  • Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and implement control measures to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Oversee incident investigations using RCA, 5 Why, and fishbone analysis; ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor and analyze EHS performance metrics (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct regular EHS audits, inspections, and compliance reviews across all operational sites.
  • Design and deliver EHS training programs, toolbox talks, and emergency preparedness drills.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, HR, operations) to integrate EHS into daily operations and project planning.
  • Maintain all statutory records and ensure timely submission of reports to regulatory authorities.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture through employee engagement, leadership coaching, and communication campaigns.

  • Leadership:

    Proven ability to lead and mentor EHS teams across multiple locations, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Communication:

    Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with internal teams, senior leadership, and external regulatory bodies.
  • Analytical Thinking:

    Ability to interpret complex EHS data, identify trends, and develop actionable strategies for risk mitigation and performance improvement.
  • Stakeholder Management:

    Skilled in building trust and alignment with cross-functional teams, clients, contractors, and government authorities.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a team of 1015 EHS professionals across multiple regions.
  • Foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and operational excellence

(Frequent travel across PAN India as required for audits, training, and client engagements)
