Oversee the implementation of safety measures related to excavation, trenching, confined space entry, electrical safety (lockout/tagout, arc flash), fall protection, and heavy equipment operation. Manage and maintain safety-related documentation, including permits, inspection reports, and training records. Participate in pre-construction planning meetings to identify and address potential safety hazards. Stay up-to-date on current safety regulations and best practices. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Safety Engineer in the construction industry, with specific experience in civil and electrical work. In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and other applicable safety standards. Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar are highly preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and training skills. Ability to identify and analyze hazards, and develop effective solutions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with large-scale residential construction projects. Knowledge of electrical safety codes and standards (e.g., NFPA 70E).
