Safety Manager

As a Safety Manager, your role involves developing and implementing safety plans tailored to interior projects. This includes creating detailed safety protocols, outlining task procedures, and ensuring compliance among all personnel. Your key responsibilities include: - Conducting risk assessments to identify potential hazards in design and construction plans. You will assess the likelihood and severity of risks, and develop strategies to mitigate potential harm. - Ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations such as OSHA standards, building codes, and fire safety regulations. You will stay updated on any changes in these regulations. - Providing safety training sessions for project teams and contractors. This includes educating them on safety procedures, hazard identification, and emergency response protocols. - Monitoring and inspecting project sites, equipment, and materials regularly to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards. You will take corrective actions when necessary. - Managing incidents by investigating accidents, near-misses, and safety incidents. You will analyze root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. - Maintaining accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, incident reports, and other relevant documentation. - Promoting a safety culture among project stakeholders by fostering open communication about safety concerns and encouraging a proactive approach to safety management. - Collaborating with project managers, architects, designers, and other professionals to integrate safety considerations into the design and construction process. It is a Full-time position that requires your expertise in handling interior fit-out projects and knowledge of the National Building Code (NBC). The work location is in person.,
