Job Description

Role Overview

  • Responsible for continuous auditing and monitoring of commissions and all business acquisition-related expenses.
  • The role ensures accuracy, compliance, and transparency in payouts and expense management, while identifying process improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Key Responsibilities Commissions & Payout Audit
  • Validate and audit all commission payouts for sales teams, partners, and intermediaries.
  • Ensure alignment of payouts with approved business acquisition approvals and performance metrics.
  • Investigate discrepancies and resolve commission-related queries promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of commission structures and periodic changes.
  • Check and validate provisions with proper documentation and approvals.
  • Ensure reviewing timely clearance of commission payouts as per agreed timelines.
  • Expense Audit & Compliance
  • Audit all expenses related to business acquisition, including:
  • Travel & Accommodation (sales visits, client meetings)
  • Marketing & Promotional Costs (campaigns, events, digital ads)
  • Onboarding & Training Expenses (new hires, partner enablement)
  • Third-Party Fees (consultants, agencies, vendors)
  • Verify expense claims against policy guidelines and budget allocations.
  • Check and validate provisions with proper documentation and approvals.
  • Ensure timely clearance of expense claims and payouts.
  • Identify irregularities and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting & Insights
  • Prepare periodic audit reports highlighting trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Provide actionable insights to management for optimizing commission structures and expense policies.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and HR teams for data accuracy and process improvements.
  • Automation & Process Enhancement
  • Identify opportunities for automation in commission calculation and expense tracking.
  • Support implementation of audit tools and dashboards for real-time monitoring.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and auditing skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/Finance systems, as well as familiarity with the latest AI tools and audit tools will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Knowledge of commission structures, expense policies, and compliance standards.

Qualifications

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in audit, finance operations, or incentive management.
