Blue Tyga Fashions Pvt. Ltd., a sister concern of Walkaroo, one of India’s leading footwear brands, is a growing apparel brand based in Coimbatore. Focused on performance-driven, everyday fashion, Blue Tyga is creating a strong presence in the retail apparel market.



Role Overview

The Retail Merchandiser will plan and manage product assortment, stock, and merchandising strategies to maximize sales and ensure alignment with customer demand. This role involves collaborating with store, production, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth operations and high sell-through rates.



Key Responsibilities

·      Allocation & Replenishment

o  Allocate new season stock to stores based on capacity, demographics, and sell-through targets.

o  Track daily and weekly sales data to trigger replenishments or pullbacks.

o  Manage stock transfers between stores to optimize inventory balance.

·      Price & Markdown Management

o  Monitor price effectiveness; suggest promotions or markdowns for aging stock.

o  Collaborate with buying/planning to execute end-of-season clearance (EOSS).

o  Ensure all price changes are implemented accurately and timely in stores.

·      Store Merchandising Execution

o  Work closely with Visual Merchandising (VM) and Store Managers to ensure floor layouts reflect current season and trends.

o  Conduct store visits to verify planogram compliance, stock display, and fixture utilization.

o  Provide qualitative feedback on customer preferences and local trends.

·      Sales & Performance Analysis

o  Monitor category-wise and store-wise performance against budget.

o  Track KPIs: Sell-through, Stock-turn, Markdown %, GMROI, and Sales per s.ft

o  Provide weekly reports with actionable insights and recommendations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

o  Liaise with Buying, Planning, VM, and Operations teams for smooth flow of merchandise.

o  Attend weekly review meetings to discuss product performance, pricing strategy, and replenishment.

o  Communicate market trends and competitor insights to the central team.

Inventory Management

o  Ensure optimal stock levels — avoid over-stocking or stock-outs of key SKUs.

o  Coordinate with logistics for timely dispatch and replenishment.

o  Support annual and mid-season stock audits.


Qualifications & Experience

- 3–5 years of retail merchandising experience, preferably in apparel/fashion.

- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

- Experience with inventory management and reporting tools.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Fashion Management.
