Job Description

Job Summary:

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure excellent guest experiences, smooth coordination between kitchen and service teams, and achievement of sales and profitability goals. The role involves supervising staff, maintaining quality and hygiene standards, and implementing company policies effectively.

Key Responsibilities: Operations & Service:

  • Supervise day-to-day restaurant operations and ensure smooth service flow.
  • Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction through quality food, service, and ambience.
  • Monitor table setup, cleanliness, and overall restaurant presentation.
  • Ensure timely coordination between kitchen and service departments.

Staff Management:

  • Manage, train, and motivate restaurant staff to deliver excellent service.
  • Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing during peak hours.
  • Conduct regular briefings and ensure discipline, grooming, and performance standards.

Sales & Revenue:

  • Monitor daily sales and control operational costs to maximize profitability.
  • Assist in implementing promotional activities, offers, and events to drive sales.
  • Ensure accurate billing and cash handling procedures.

Inventory & Supplies:

  • Monitor stock levels for beverages, cutlery, crockery, and consumables.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement.
  • Conduct monthly inventory audits and minimize wastage.

Guest Relations:

  • Handle guest complaints or feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Build rapport with regular guests to encourage repeat business.

Compliance & Hygiene:

  • Ensure adherence to FSSAI and hygiene standards in all operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in dining and back-of-house areas.
  • Follow all company policies, health, and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Hotel Management or related field preferred.
  • 5–7 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operations.
  • Customer-focused attitude and ability to work under pressure.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month
