Job Description

As a Restaurant Manager at Reg Caf, a subsidiary of Regenesys, you will play a key role in managing a busy restaurant and catering service with a vision to be a leading plant-based, healthy food establishment. Your responsibilities will include: - Working with the Caf team to ensure smooth operations and be the preferred workplace dining and catering option for all staff - Controlling front of house and call orders for optimal service delivery and sales recording - Supervising chefs to ensure timely preparation of meals according to the menu and catering orders - Assisting in hiring and training catering personnel - Managing and overseeing all catering staff to maximize their potential - Planning set menu items, specials, providing recipes, and overseeing food preparation - Quality checking meals before serving, especially vegan meals and catering to special dietary requirements - Procuring ingredients and supplies from reliable and cost-effective suppliers - Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene in the front of house, serving areas, and kitchen - Addressing and resolving complaints promptly, escalating when necessary - Maximizing the functionality of the Pilot management system and conducting monthly maintenance - Collaborating with the Marketing and Events Departments on campaigns, branding, promotions, and packages You should have: - Minimum 5 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager, Food and Beverage Manager, or Head Chef - Post-matric degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or Food Management (business qualification is a plus) - Leadership skills to motivate and develop team competencies - Ability to work under pressure and deliver quality food and service - Understanding of customer retention, profitability, and cost-savings - Strategic planning experience is beneficial - Creativity in developing unique recipes and practical knowledge of the Pilot software system Key qualities we seek: - Cost-consciousness - Positive and energetic attitude - Entrepreneurial spirit with a sense of urgency - Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure - High standards of hygiene and safety practices - Professionalism, speed, and accuracy - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding team environment and operate as a profitable Business Unit If you embody these qualities and have the required experience and qualifications, please email your CV to vacancies@regenesys.net.
