Burma Burma is seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing service teams, maintaining operational excellence, and leading a team that upholds the core values and service standards of the Burma Burma brand.


Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure smooth operations of the restaurant on a daily basis.

• Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction by enforcing service standards and handling customer feedback effectively.

• Manage dining reservations and develop strong guest relations.

• Conduct daily briefings to communicate operational goals, updates, and staff assignments.

• Ensure hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards are met in all outlet areas as per company guidelines.

• Facilitate effective communication between the service team, kitchen, housekeeping, and other relevant departments.

• Monitor and control cost, quality, and quantity of supplies to ensure efficient resource use.

• Implement measures to prevent pilferage and breakage, contributing to overall cost control.

• Drive profitability through optimal staff and material resource allocation.

• Conduct and oversee on-the-job training to ensure continuous staff development.

• Create a positive and motivating work environment for all team members.

• Take necessary corrective actions to ensure safety and compliance in the workplace.

• Keep senior management informed of operational issues and exceptional occurrences.

• Lead skill training sessions and promote an in-depth understanding of the restaurant’s food philosophy and brand identity.

• Manage staffing, hiring, and scheduling within the service department.

• Address and accommodate special guest requests and ensure consistent customer satisfaction.

• Handle customer complaints efficiently and professionally.

• Ensure consistent cleanliness and sanitation in all service areas.

• Monitor and reduce wastage through daily tracking and adherence to SOPs.

• Prepare detailed reports for management on restaurant performance and operations.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the management.
