Job Description

Purpose

CEEW is looking to hire a Research Intern with skills, knowledge, and enthusiasm for facilitating stakeholder engagement, managing high-level policy events from dialogues to panel discussions and roundtables. Must have an understanding of climate science, carbon markets (CCTS, Article 6, VCM, CDR), and robust data analysis skills to join the Low-Carbon Economy team. The role will focus on supporting projects that advance India's Net Zero goals.

Key skills include strong interpersonal abilities, a proactive and enthusiastic attitude, proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and prior experience organising international and national events or leading student clubs and university-level business conclaves.

In addition to the duties and responsibilities below, the individual should be prepared to take on additional responsibilities as and when necessary.

Job Duties and Accountabilities:

Primary responsibilities

  • Support the planning and facilitation of stakeholder roundtables and high-level events.
  • Engage with diverse stakeholders and assist in managing outreach and follow-ups.
  • Provide event coordination, planning and logistical support to ensure smooth execution.
  • Contribute to literature reviews and background research to inform discussions.
  • Support engagements with Global CEOs and senior government officials
  • Assist the team in preparing event notes, briefs, and summaries for internal and external use.
  • Support research and outreach activities.

hSelection Criteri

aQualificatio

  • nPreferably a Master's degree in Economics, Climate Policy or other allied fields
  • .Candidates pursuing their degrees (Bachelors/Masters) can also apply
  • .Event/ Project Management experience would be an advantage
