Job Overview:

mammalian cell culture and bioreactor operations

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare media and cell banks, perform thawing, maintenance, and expansion of suspension/adherent mammalian cells.
• Handle shake flasks for upstream process development and scale-up studies.
• Operate and maintain mammalian cell culture bioreactors (1L, 5L, 10L, 50L).
• Perform cell transfection experiments in suspension mammalian cells.
• Operate analytical instruments such as blood gas analyzer, metabolite analyzer, and cell counter.
• Prepare SOPs, logbooks, lab notebooks (LNB), process development reports, and other technical documentation.
• Support equipment qualification activities (IQ, OQ, PQ) and ensure compliance with QA systems (Change Control, BMR, Deviations).
• Ensure adherence to safety, GMP/GxP, and data integrity standards.
• Perform data analysis using MS Office and relevant software tools.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong expertise in

  mammalian cell culture techniques

  (suspension & adherent).
• Hands-on experience with

  bioreactor operations

  (1–50L).
• Proficiency in

  cell culture–related instrumentation

  (blood gas analyzer, metabolite analyzer, cell counter).
• Knowledge of

  SOP preparation, equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), QA documentation, and GMP practices

  .
• Skilled in

  data analysis, report writing, and MS Office tools

  .
• Good problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications:

• M.Sc. / M.Tech. in Biotechnology, Bioprocess Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant industry experience in upstream process development / mammalian cell culture preferred.
