Position Overview We are seeking a driven and innovative R&D Engineer with a strong background in EV component design and system integration. This role involves working hands-on with motors, controllers, batteries, wiring systems, and developing next-gen drive technologies. ⸻ Key Responsibilities • Lead R&D activities related to electric drivetrain architecture • Integrate and test BLDC hub motors, mid-drive systems, and associated components • Work on motor controller tuning, programming, and fault diagnosis • Design and validate battery systems, including BMS selection and safety • Build and test drive system prototypes using throttle, PAS, and torque sensors • Create detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver product innovation and performance • Stay updated on the latest EV trends, components, and system-level improvements ⸻ Required Technical Skills • Solid knowledge of EV electrical components (BLDC motors, controllers, battery packs) • Experience with BMS, Li-ion cells, and integration of battery systems • Hands-on work with sensor systems, drive control, and wiring harness layouts • Use of diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and controller software • Knowledge of waterproofing, thermal management, and safety design ⸻ Preferred Qualifications • Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field • Minimum 2 years of experience in EV product R&D or component engineering • Exposure to startup environments or electric two-wheeler development is a plus ⸻ What You’ll Gain • Be part of a purpose-driven startup building sustainable transport solutions • Get hands-on experience with real-world innovation and product launches • Work in a collaborative, open-minded, and fast-paced environment • Opportunity to grow with the organization and contribute to national clean mobility goals Show more Show less
